About Conference on 'Segmentation of donors'

Conference on 'Segmentation of donors'

In what way do you segment your (potential) donordatabase? Based on what? How do you optimalize personalization of communication?

More information about the speakers and their presentations will be announced as soon as possible.

Presentation 1: Donor centred segmentation (Ilja De Coster, Fundraising & Data Strategist)

When we segment our donor base we do so often based on historic transaction data or fundraising channel. But is this really relevant for our donors themselves? In his presentation Ilja will share some other ways to segment donors based on what really matters for them. Yet the key goal of donor segmentation is simple: a communication as customised as possible to enhance donor retention.

Presentation 2: Donor Segmentation vs Client Segmentation (Isabel Baert, Senior Consultant Expert)

As a data expert at Bisnode, Isabel has worked for many fundraising organisations as well as plenty of clients in commercial sectors. Working with marketing data and helping clients with segmentation, analytics and data driven marketing are just some of the key services Bisnode provides.

Let’s look at some segmentation experiences we can share from our work with fundraisers, but we’ll also take the time to share some insights based on our collaboration with FMCG, retailers,…Can we find some takeaways by looking at how the commercial world is tackling customer segmentation?
