Masterclass ‘Strategic communication for fundraisers’ (23 October 2020, online)
This FAB masterclass on ‘Strategic Communication for Fundraisers’ is given in collaboration with the AMS, Antwerp Management School. It is invaluable for a communication or fundraising professional to develop strategic insights within his/ her own organization and then link communication actions to them. This session is not about the basics of communication, but about strategic thinking and acting as a basis for communication.
This session will include:
- General theory and communications strategy
- Nudging (how can we subtly nudge our donors’ communication?)
- Reputation management (how do we help influence and control our organization’s reputation as fundraisers?)
- Some insights on crisis management and -communications
There will be plenty of occasion to go into interaction and conversation with the attendees.
Some days before the masterclass participants will get some material to read/watch in preparation of the masterclass.
This dayfilling session on strategic communication for fundraisers will be given by Hugo Marynissen. Hugo is a lecturer at the Executive Master in Public Management at the Antwerp Management School.He is also a visiting professor at the UAntwerpen, Campus Vesta, Cranfield University, et cetera. He is managing director and partner at PM Risk-Crisis-Change, an agency specialized in risk and crisis management and communication.
