Online education session 'Basics for fundraisers'
This education session is an online session (in Dutch).
In this general introduction into fundraising, we focus mainly on the basics of fundraising. This program focuses on newcomers to the profession. Though people who have been engaged in the profession for a longer time without ever having had a basic training are also more than welcome.
- We place fundraising in its social context.
- We concentrate on the different fundraising techniques.
- We discuss the structure and culture within the organization for fundraising.
- We deal with several major components of any successful fundraising campaign.
This session is given by Ilja De Coster, vice president of the Fundraisers Alliance Belgium and senior fundraising consultant. For over 20 years he has been supporting the fundraising of several large and small organizations. He is the Director of Donor Relationship Management and Data Strategy at The DonorVoice.
