    De VRT kondigde deze morgen aan dat de Warmste Week dit jaar een nieuw verhaal start. De Warmste Week 2020 vraagt mensen niet langer om geld te doneren, maar om de handen uit de mouwen te steken. Voor de Fundraisers Alliance Belgium, de netwerkorganisatie voor fondsenwervers in België, komt deze beslissing als een donderslag bij een al donkere hemel voor de sector van de goede doelen.

  2. Concern about fundraising evolution after the lockdown

    The FAB, Fundraisers Alliance Belgium, conducted a survey amongst its members and database on how their fundraising has evolved since the start of the Coronacrisis. 39% of responding fundraisers noticed a drop in fundraising incomes the last months, 35,5% noticed a rise (compared to the same period last year). Almost half of the fundraisers indicate that they are pessimistic about their fundraising results in the next few months. They are also worried about the continuation of corporate partnerships as of 2021.

Het blijft een job apart!  FAB brengt daar verandering in en neemt je samen met collega-fondsenwervers die recentelijk in die functie startten mee op Expeditie! Naar plaatsen waar het goed is om met gelijkgestemden samen te zijn, naar elkaar te luisteren, te leren en te inspireren.

    Tijdens vier sessies maken we een reis naar een resultaatgericht eindpunt. Samen met de deelnemende Wervers wordt het einddoel bepaald en aan een gedeelde ambitie gebouwd. De Expeditie maakt je als fondsenwerver én mens sterker. Je verwerft nieuwe kennis, vaardigheden, inzichten en oplossingen voor uitdagingen.

Education session 'Telemarketing' and 'Direct Mail'

During this education session in the morning Mindwize will be sharing its international experiences with telemarketing for NGO's. In the afternoon Direct Social Communications will be sharing its experiences with direct mail for NGO's.

Session about Telemarketing by Mindwize (Liesbeth Van Uytven)

The phone is an ideal tool to optimize the relationship with your supporters and to build or strengthen a long-term relationship with them.
Effective call actions for NGOs require a special approach and the right techniques. How do you contact your donors? Which donors do you contact? Which do's and don'ts do you have to take into account? What return can you expect? During this interactive session, Socialcall, part of Mindwize, shares its international experiences with telemarketing for NGOs.

This session is suitable for organizations that work professionally with telemarketing or are interested in exploring the possibilities of telemarketing.

Session about Direct Mail by Direct Social Communications (Lore Maene)

Based on concrete examples, Lore Maene, Head of Product Development at Direct Social Communications, outlines the historic development of fundraising with DM as the beating heart of it.

From the letters that Pater Damiaan wrote from Molokaï about the importance of donor love to a look at the future with chat bots, predictive modeling, et cetera; everything will be covered. We will go back to basics and discuss which DM basic principles you still need to apply as an association today and we’ll investigate whether you are ready for the future. Because forewarned is forearmed, also as a fundraiser.

This presentation is educational, interactive, interesting and fun!
